SENIORS VISITS TO MEMBERS’ GARDENS

SENIORS VISITS TO MEMBERS’ GARDENS

Bathurst Gardeners’ Club members have taken on a new goal.  The idea came from President Karen Granger who is eager to get members more involved in the community.  One way of doing this was to invite aged care residents to visit members’ gardens.  So far residents from Cheriton and the Seymour Centre have been involved.

Our next meeting will be held at 2pm on Sunday 3rd March, 2019.  The venue is 223 Eleven Mile Drive. (about halfway along or 2.2 kms from the Kelso end.)   The garden was a cow paddock 36 years ago.   A lot of hard work has transformed the garden into what we see today.  It has several different garden rooms, lots of trees, shrubs, bulbs, flowers and roses.

Please bring a chair, a mug and a share plate. Look forward to seeing you!
