On the 24th of February 39 members of the club had a lovely day out visiting two gardens in Hartley and Little Hartley.   The three year old garden “Hartvale” was full of colourful  plantings.  Owner Jennifer Edwards is also an artist and her eye for colour combinations is reflected in the lovely garden.  The group then visited “Highfield”, a much larger garden.  The group were amazed at the growth of the garden in such a short time.  Lots of plants were purchased from the nursery (Clover Hill Rare Plants).   After the inspection of the garden the group enjoyed a yummy Devonshire tea.
